iPhone 3G service providers: Vodafone, Optus

Vodafone news

Vodafone announced they have signed an agreement with Apple to launch the iPhone in Australia - and that we can expect it “later this year”.

Register your interest with them on their website - however it appears you have to be a Vodafone customer already to do so.

Late breaking news from Optus

Optus has today also advised that they will bring iPhones to Australia for use on their network.

As with the Vodafone news release, details are minimal and sketchy.
