But recently, we received another review – this one for the Mophie Juice Pack Plus for iPhone 4 – with the detail and specs so indepth we had to share.
Customer Review of the Mophie JPP
On the Mophie itelf:
I’m familiar with other Mophie products, and cursory examination of the JPP looks good. Quality is up to the usual Mophie standard, and a major improvement over the design for the iPhone 3G.
This battery pack provides all round protection including a slight bumper around the front face edge. The phone fits snugly inside with no annoying wriggle. Buttons overlays are responsive and although the mute switch is now well recessed, it can be flicked quite easily with a fingernail. I have not noticed any flash flare caused by the deeper back plate when using the camera. Audio quality is not impaired by the pack design at all.
The inclusion of a standby switch is a clever idea. It allows you to regularly run a full power cycle on both the phone and the battery without disconnecting one from the other. An LED meter gives you an idea of how much power is available in the pack. Bright white LEDs instead of green in the iPhone 3G version. Mini USB pass-through (on the lower right corner, right hand side) for charging and data transfer of course. No problem identifying my phone on the PC, or charging using the Apple AC adapter.My only negative comments (and they are very minor) is that the matt black rubberised outer coating picks up finger marks very easily so clean freaks will be wiping their phones down regularly. The USB connector coming out from the side is a minor niggle too. I can see it getting caught more frequently in other cables on my desktop (not that the Apple connector coming out of the bottom doesn’t do the same thing from time to time).”

Being borderline OC, I agree about the above finger mark issue. With the trade-off for me being that the rubberised coating will help with my clumsiness
