Finally, a date for the next Apple event

Apple Event

“Let’s Talk iPhone”

The long awaited event has now been scheduled. Or so it would appear from invites extended (to people far more superior to myself) to an Apple event on 4 October. (source Mashable)

Now, I won’t call it the Apple iPhone 5 event – as that’s still heresay and conjecture – but it is expected as the event to unveil the next generation Apple iPhone. But just what will the Apple iPhone 5 (or whatever they’ll call it) bring – a bigger screen, a better camera (8Mp), more memory onboard. Oh and “Let’s Talk iPhone” … a hint at voice recognition? Also, in another twist, the event is being held at Apple’s Campus in Cupertino, not their usual style for a ‘big product media event’. So what gives?!

I’m sure there’ll still be “one more thing” even with Apple’s new CEO, Tim Cook at the helm.

Interestingly, there’s no talk at all of a new iPod lineup.

What do you think will happen?

We’ll just have to diarise 4 October and wait and see!
