Apple iPhone 2.02 software update
Coinciding with complaints about 3G speeds and dropped calls, another software update for iPhone 3G has been released by Apple (19/08).
According to a news article on Streem Tech Media:
The iPhone 2.0.2 software update “improved communication with 3G networks,” said Apple spokeswoman Jennifer Bowcock.
The update is cited by Apple only as “bug fixes” with no other explanation but apparently some users least, at least, US users have mixed responses after upgrading:
An iPhone software update released this week improves communication with 3G networks, an Apple spokeswoman said, but some users were still venting frustration over connectivity issues.
Australian users experiences are also mixed, based on feedback on PC Authority and MacTalk.
If you haven’t already upgraded, iTunes will prompt you to download and install the software update next time you connect your iPhone to your computer and iTunes.
We wish you good results! ![]()
