An absolute piece of Apple artistry!

To think that the iTunes Apps store was only launched in July with 500 applications. That’s an amazing amount of programmers creating applications to make our life easier, organised and more fun.

No wonder we need iPhone your Life to help us out!

Apple’s iPhone minisite – “iPhone your Life”

Once you own an iPhone, you discover that it’s more than a phone. It’s a way of life. Take a look at some ideas to help you get the most out of your iPhone, wherever you go.

If you’re one of the many that have trouble sorting and sifting through all the available iPhone applications to get your life in order, then worry no more!

Aimed at helping you get the most out of your iPhone, Apple has launched iPhone your Life.

“So, just what is iPhone Your Life?”

Each of the sections is a mix of relevant staff picks, top 10 apps paid and free, information and reviews, as well as onscreen tips and hints.

iPhone your Life is organised into handy real-life categories:

At home: From help with eBay shopping, recipes and cooking and even home decorating. Or why not entertain the kids with games and apps (like Brain Challenge, Study Cards) and video podcasts (like Sesame Street).

Around town: Whether you’re a local or not, this section can help you appear to be [might come in especially helpful if you're brown-nosing or trying to impress]. Insider info for events on and buying tickets, sourcing a restaurant, parking (and even remembering where).

World Travel: Maps and GPS of course, with access to info like hotels and landmarks, plus keeping track of your travel, learning foreign languages and travel tips, currency conversion and keeping your travel docs safe and recorded. [now, all that sounds exciting!]

Getting things done: From running errands, to just getting your life organised (very organised).  Whilst there are of course numerous apps for this category, a standout is OmniFocus. It’s an Apple design winning app if that’s any indicator?!  It’s a task manager on steroids – for both your personal and professional life.

Fun & Games: Of course, this is where everything else lives.  The fun, frivolous, time wasting or time well spent. All ages, all skill-levels, all mentalities…

iPhone Apps tips

Points you need to remember are – whilst of course some are free, others ask a fair price, so check reviews before you pay for any. As well, like anything iTunes related, not all the appliations are applicable for us Aussies (even though they may still be available on iTunes.au).

So it seems that Apple is listening to their consumers and realising that they can provide a higher level of customer interface, user experience and quality to their products…
