Updated OS for iPhone
It is rumoured, yet to be trumoured, that the 2.2 release is due on 21 November.
Some of the suggested features are:
- ‘New look’ Safari browse interface
- Street View for Google Maps, plus pedestrian/walking directions & ‘share location’
- Public transport info (how relevant – or relevant to where?)

We heard just recently that the iPod is cheapest in Australia … now wouldn’t it be great if price dropping happened to put Australia in first place price-wise for the iPhone.
Well, we know not to dream that night, with how much we pay here.
But it seems that iPhone price dropping is occuring overseas, so maybe we just have to keep waiting with fingers crossed! And legs and toes and eyes
There is also gossip circulating that Apple may release a new iPhone in January.
But let’s not count all our chickens before they’re hatched. Idle gossip usually is just that!
