Clever update squashes bugs

At the Apple “Let’s Rock” live event in San Francisco overnight, Apple CEO Steve Jobs announced another software update for the Apple iPhone – version 2.1.

It’s a big update, it fixes lots of bugs!

Sounds like many of the issues iPhoners have been complaining about are being addressed:

  • Improved battery life
  • Less dropped calls
  • Better, easier, faster interface for backing up to iTunes
  • Less crashes caused by having lots of apps on the phone
  • Other software enhancements

Lets go ahead and presume that the security bypass issues have also been addressed!

Can I download it today??

It’s due for release this coming Friday.
